Motiv-8 is proud to announce that Zena Gardener our Partnerships Manager has just returned from her holiday in South East Cornwall to find her Trelawny’s Army pin badge has arrived!
Zena is one of the first 250 people to enrol as a Cornish Ambassador, the first cohort of a 20,000 strong group who, by signing up as an Ambassador both cares about the future of Cornwall and also wishes to actively promote the Duchy as a great place to live and work. This initiative has been set up by the Cornwall Place Board, find out more here.
Not only do Motiv-8 run two “back to work programmes” in Cornwall, but by becoming an Ambassador, Zena will engage with the right people, in the right places to proactively advocate Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Ambassadors are asked to:
•Champion Cornwall for one and all
•Adopt a ‘can do’ attitude to help develop and promote Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly
•Be a proactive advocate of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly by helping influence how the County is perceived and portrayed while making sure it is talked about in the right places and by the right people
•View yourself as a guardian of and advocate for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly
•Share best practice and facilitate introductions where appropriate/helpful
•Engage with a common message in order to deliver a strong and united story
•Attend events in support of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Congratulations Zena!
