After nearly two decades working in  Finance and  Banking, I decided  I needed to change  career and stumbled into the Employment and Welfare Sector. It was clearly the right move for me as many years later I am still here working in this sector that puts people first giving opportunity and  fulfilling ambitions.

I worked initially as an adviser with my own caseload before going on to lead on  a number of large scale Welfare to Work Contracts such as Work Programme and European Social Funded Programmes. Offending and Employment have been a particular interest and I have been involved with a number of innovative programmes, including a period working alongside Probation on the transforming rehabilitation programme.  More latterly I have worked in a consultant capacity and with smaller scale local community interest companies supporting their development through change and growth.
