Motiv-8 was originally founded in 2013 in the North East when its sister company Sampson Hall were asked to design a ten day pre-apprenticeship programme. At that time many apprenticeship schemes were struggling to attract young people who were work ready and had the necessary life-skills to progress into the workplace. From this origin the company grew and started working across the UK on ready to work programmes.
The company is now based in the South West but still has a national coverage working with a variety of stakeholders. We are a very flexible organization that can provide a bespoke pop-up solution across all ready to work sectors. The company employs and supports highly trained professional coaches from all walks of life and from all parts of the country.
Fundamentally, Motiv-8 believes everybody can positively contribute to society and those around them with a little help. It challenges and inspires individuals to transform and improve themselves through education, training, experience and work. We truly believe that “Every Individual Matters”
Motiv-8 gives people the opportunity to escape their limiting beliefs and behaviours; to develop their own credible plans to achieve their own goals. Initially it enables individual self-discovery, before developing a personal vison and a credible plan to achieve that vision. It breaks down perceived barriers and challenges misconceptions and bias to truly inspire and motivate individuals. It has worked successfully nationally with young and old, the long term unemployed, people with physical and mental disabilities, the homeless, people who have overcome addiction and ex-offenders and people who suffer from confidence and anxiety issues. It naturally prepares them for the modern workplace and gives them every chance of shining during any selection processes.
